
Girl's Day( Hangul : 걸스데이) is a South Korean girl group under Dream Tea Entertainment . The group made its debut in 2010 and currently consists of four members: Sojin , Minah , Yura and Hyeri .

Girl's Day debuted with five members (Jihae, Jisun, Jiin, Sojin, and Minah) on July 7, 2010, with their first song, "Tilt My Head" ("갸우뚱"). Their debut EPGirl's Day Party #1was released two days after. The group followed up promotions for "Tilt My Head" with the song "How About Me" ("나어때"), for which they released a music video on July 21.
On September 12, two months after their debut, Jisun and Jiin left the group to pursue individual interests, and two new members, Yura and Hyeri, were added to the group. The new lineup's digital releaseGirl's Day Party #2became available on October 29 with the lead track "Nothing Lasts Forever" ("잘해줘봐야").
On March 16, 2011, Girl's Day digitally releasedGirl's Day Party #3with the single "Twinkle Twinkle" ("반짝반짝"). On May 7, the group performed in their first overseas concert,I Love You Taiwan! We are friends(사랑해(莎朗嘿) 台灣! We are friends 演唱會), at the Taipei International Convention Center . The concert was organised by the Korea Tourism Organization and also featured performances by U-KISS and Super Junior M .
On July 6, the group released a second EP titledEveryday. The title track was "Hug Me Once" ("한번만 안아줘").
In September, the group releasedGirls' Day Party #4with the track "Don't Flirt" ("너, 한눈 팔지마!"). The song was written and produced by Gang Jeon-hyong and Nam Ki-san, who also produced previous singles "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Hug Me Once".
, was released on April 17, 2012.It contained the song "Telepathy", which was written and produced by Sojin, in addition to the title track "Oh! My God".
The remaining four members returned with the song "Don't Forget Me" ("나를 잊지마요") from their fifth digital release,Girl's Day Party #5.
This marked the start of a rise in popularity for the group. They also promoted the track "Female President" ("여자대통령"), which was named one of the "20 Best K-pop Songs of 2013" by Billboard.
FollowingExpectation, the group releasedGirl's Day Party #6with "Please Tell Me" and on October 10 the motivational song "Let's Go" ("렛츠 고"), written and composed by Sojin.
On January 3, 2014, Girl's Day released their fourth EP,Everyday 3, which was largely produced by Duble Sidekick . The music video for the title track "Something" ("썸씽") reached one million views within a day, and the song became their highest-charting single, peaking at #2 on both Billboard's Korea K-Pop Hot 100 and the Gaon Digital Chart . It also ranked first on the monthly Gaon Digital Chart, and remained in the top 10 of the Korea K-Pop Hot 100 for eight weeks. The group's live promotions for "Something" won five music show awards, and later that year, the song won the 'Best Dance Performance by a Female Group' award at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards .
In July, the group released their fifth EP,Everyday 4, with the lead single "Darling". The EP was again produced by Duble Sidekick.
On November 26, they released the compilation albumBest Albumin Japan.
One Fine Day.
, which contained Japanese versions of the singles "Darling", "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Ring My Bell". The group also held a showcase in Taipei on November 1, performing twelve of their songs to an audience of 2,000 fans.
That month the group visited Chiang Rai , Thailand , where they carried out volunteer work.
