Tree Planet Korea reveals photos of ’2NE1 Forest’ in South Sudan

Tree Planet Koreahas revealed photos of the ‘2NE1 Forest‘ in South Sudan, Africa. Last summer, fans of2NE1donated enough trees to create a ’2NE1 Forest’ in honor of the group’s ‘New Evolution Seoul‘ concert.

Blackjacksfrom all around the world donated 1,210 mango trees to the village of Tonj through Tree Planet Korea’s ‘Star Forest Project‘. Fans originally planned to donate rice wreaths, but afterYG Entertainment‘s suggestion to donate mangoes, they went with this project instead.

2NE1 is the first K-pop idol group to have a forest of this kind named after them, whileShinhwais the second with a forest in Seoul.
